Apartment Maintenance Makeready Assistant

This position will help with maintenance repair, grounds maintenance, and vacant unit preparation including painting, carpentry, and drywall repair. Will be under the supervision of the maintenance lead or property manager. Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, tools, and electrical is required. HVAC knowledge and certification are a plus. Expected to complete work orders promptly, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures. Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Looking for a person who has a good work ethic with a customer service mentality and the ability to work well with others. Up to 30 hours a week; potential to become full-time. Prefer one year of experience, but not required. Good work environment.

Qualifications:
– Taking pride and responsibility in your work
– Appliance repair experience
– Painting and drywall experience
– Good organizational skills
– HVAC experience a plus
– Understanding and communicating in English
– No criminal record, valid driver’s license
– Possessing or working toward an associate degree or a trade school certification a plus. Candidates are encouraged to pursue educational and self-improvement opportunities.

Job Type: Part-time, 30 hours per week
