Energy Efficient, Safe and a Great Location!
With the land once an apple orchard, OrchardGate claims a special appeal for individuals who like a touch of the country life, within a city setting, close to a wide range of entertainment, dining, and shopping options. Apple trees still dot the landscape and supply fruit for picking. Located just off the Lloyd Expressway on Evansville’s West Side, OrchardGate offers clean, quality apartments to individuals and families. With a garden-style layout, ample closet and cabinet space and top quality appliances, OrchardGate is your next perfect home.
Centrally located in the community is also a large, coin-operated, laundry room. With a front-load washer, eight conventional washers and 12 dryers, you will find plenty of options for your clothes-washing needs. It is open 24 hours with video surveillance for added safety. You will also find vending machines and a restroom available in the laundry room.
We have a community room to host birthday parties, business meetings and showers, for brides and babies! The community room seats 60 people and has round and rectangular tables, plus a full size kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and abundant cabinet space. It is outfitted with separate men’s and women’s restrooms, and has access to cable and Internet.
Our one and two bedroom apartments include water, sewer, parking, and 72 channels of basic television. Internet is available through WOW, our sole Internet provider. The only pets approved to live at OrchardGate are fish – no other pets are allowed. View our floorplans to learn more.
Family Owned and Operated for over 40 Years!
OrchardGate has always been a family-owned and operated community. Ray Funke, owner and manager, makes sure to know everyone on a first name basis. “OrchardGate has been blessed through the years with truly outstanding residents. I have had parents, then their children and then their grandchildren make their home here. Through the years, many residents have become like extended family,” says Funke. “We take great pride in our community, and we hope you will stop in for a visit.”
